Hello lovelies, I hope everyone’s had a good start to the week. Today I’ll be sharing 2 red polishes. Now the photos are old, one is from the summer of 2014 and other from the autumn of the same year. I have worked on some new swatches and in future there will be more and better photos to showcase the polishes better.
Anyhow, first one up is Maybelline Colorama Downtown Red. This is a lovely red 1 coater crelly. I am not wearing any top coat on the photos. There are some bubbles visible, but that does happen with me applying crellies in the summer, when it is hot. Otherwise it is easy to work with. Be aware though, it does stain the skin but not nails when you use base coat. First photo is in natural light, second is with flash.
The second polish is China Glaze Long Kiss. This is again an one coater. On the photos I am wearing it with top coat though. It is easy to apply and dries rather fast. Long Kiss is a lovely darker metallic polish with shimmer finish. Again first photo is in natural light and second one with flash. It does not stain at all.
Which one do you like more? Would you also like to see a comparison with Long Kiss and Heart Of Africa, which do look very similar in bottle and in certain light.
With best, K.
