OMD3 Day 6 – Polka Dots

d6-OMD3-polka-dots-1Good evening lovelies, here’s another lovely prompt from the Oh Mon Dieu 3 Challenge. Theme number 6 was polka dots. Again I went with something really simple. I did mix it up slightly on my hands, choosing different nails to be accents.

I left 2 nails yellow, did polka dots on 2 nails and floral stamp on 1 nail for each hand. I seem to be all about stamping lately, and to be fair I have loads of stamps I haven’t yet used.

Lets see what I’ve used here:

  • yellow – OPI I Just Can’t Cope-Acabana
  • black – Maybelline Colorshow Black to the Basics
  • stamping plate BP-20

d6-OMD3-polka-dots-2I am still determined to create as many as the themes from the challenge as I can. I just keep snapping time off from my sleeping hours. That’s how it goes I suppose. I will try to catch up on reading and commenting on my next day off.

Let me know what do you think of this one in the comments and check out the inlinkz gallery at the end of the post.

d6-OMD3-polka-dotsWith best, K xoxo

  1. And I love how you mixed it up – the different patterns look so cool with the yellow.

      Thanks Cat 😀
I really need to get more yellows. I’m still on the search for a good neon one.

      • Same here! Need more ; )
A neon yellow I have is Models Own Bikini – but I wouldn’t recommend it. Sure, the colour is awesome but the formula is TERRIBLE. Terrible.
For a non-neon I am LUSTING over OPI Cope-acabana – have you seen it? It might be near damn perfect yellow….

      • Kairi says:

I actually spent loads of money on mine. Bought it from sally’s when I was working in Guildford back in April.
I love it though and for a yellow the formula is awesome. No streakiness and 2 coats is enough. 🙂

      • I hate you. You and Jacqui, now I HAVE to have that bastard. ARGH.
