Skittlette in Chartreuse and Floral

skittlette-chartreuse-floral-1Hello lovelies, I was supposed to get this skittlette up last night, but I had a lovely change of plans.

We (me, my boyfriend and a friend of ours) went to watch The Guardians of the Galaxy. I liked it, it was fun to watch and really enjoyable. I do hope that everyone who have already seen it, stayed till the end (after credits) – that was a little weird but kind of humorous and unexpected.

After the movie we had few beers and a great discussion about Marvel heroes and such.

Now lets get back to the manicure. I have a special story with the chartreuse. I am still looking the perfect one. I used to have a mini bottle of some brand I don’t remember, it was a really cool colour and I do have 1 photo, where you can see the nails vaguely. And well, I am on the hunt for that one. So far this is kind of the closest I’ve found.

skittlette-chartreuse-floral-2Polishes used:

  • base – Sally Hansen Hard as Nails strengthener, CND Stickey base coat
  • chartreuse – Maybelline Colorshow Pow Green
  • silver – Misslyn Night Fever
  • black – Maybelline Colorshow Blackout
  • Seche Vite top coat

The design is inspired by one of the works by @kimiko7878. The stamping plate I used is from Born Pretty Store and numbered as QA83. Let me know what you think of this one and till my next post 😉
