Estonian Reindependence Day – fail post

ImageHey lovelies, this is a fail post for 2 reasons. The Day of Restoration of Independence was yesterday (20th of August). I’ve been wearing this nailart for 3 days now and well, it’s a bit messy.

I did this design on Monday before me and my friends went to this concert called NightSong Festival. So many people singing together, what an awesome way to celebrate. I finished my nails just when all the friends came over and it was time to go and for some reason all the polish hadn’t hardened yet properly.

Now onto the design itself. It is inspired by Estonian flag – tricolor in blue, black and white. I didn’t want to go for regular stripes, that’s why the triangular design. On my ring finger is Estonian national flower – cornflower. Or well, my attempt to paint it :D.

ImagePolishes I used:

blue – Hanging in the Balance by China Glaze (#1199)

black – Black Creme by Wet n Wild (#E424A)

white – White on White by China Glaze (#23)

matte top coat by OPI

cornflower – waterbased blue and black acrylic colours and a flat brush

Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Anti-Chip Top Coat

Enjoy and feel free to leave comments 😉
